Just like its predecessor, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4 has a body of magnesium alloy and the sensor at 16MP. But it does not have to mean that GH4 is a minor update. The most striking difference is that GH4 been able to capture video footage 4K (both DCI 4K and 4K UHD resolution).

Stills for the needs of the photographer, the most obvious increase in performance is at shutter speeds reach 1/8000 second and flash sync at up to 1/250 sec. Continuous shooting is also improved up to 12 fps and 7.5 fps with continuous focus. Tracking focus is also improved, thanks to the technology ‘depth-from-defocus’ (DFD) to assess how out-of-focus lens, based on the profile of how the lens renders out-of-area focus.
